Mr. Pusateri graduated (cum laude) from the Capital University School of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1977. In 1983, he returned to Columbus, and established his own criminal defense law practice. In 1990, Mr. Pusateri merged his law practice in association with criminal defense luminaries Gerald G. Simmons, Esq. and Lewis E. Williams, Esq., as well as Barry Wilford, Esq. He has successfully defended numerous defendants in death penalty trials, and has never had a defendant sentenced to death.
In 1996, Mr. Pusateri accepted the offer of James Kura, Esq. to serve as counsel for the law firm of Kura & Wilford Co., L.P.A. Mr. Pusateri concentrates on criminal trial defense, but also does appeals in criminal cases. He is available for case consultation with Mr. Wilford on K & W cases, and accepts special K & W case assignments on a case-by-case basis.
